Matsui Airi is a Japanese actress and musician who was born on December 26, 1996, in Iwaki, Japan. She debuted as a member of all-female pop group Sakura Gakuin in 2010, and left the act in 2012. She then turned her hand to acting, appearing in a live-action drama series adaptation of the manga title “Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches” in 2013. She followed up with her movie debut in “Omoinokoshi” in 2014. She has since gone on to appear in drama titles such as “Good Doctor” (2018) and “Secret Unrequited Love” (2019).
