Kitaro is a Japanese actor who was born on August 25, 1948, in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He studied at Chuo University and made a name for himself as a stage actor in the 1970s and 1980s, eventually transitioning into TV dramas and movies in the mid-to-late 1980s, and appeared in the movie “A Taxing Woman 2” in 1988. He went on to star in drama series releases like “Double Score (2002) and “Manhattan Love Story” (2003). Some of his more recent movies include “My Retirement, My Life” (2018) and “Romance Doll” (2020).
