Goro Kishitani is a Japanese actor and director who was born on September 27, 1964, in Tokyo, Japan. He made his acting debut in the 1988 TV series “Oikaketai No!” and went on to appear in numerous movie titles, including “Returner” (2002) and “Graveyard of Honor” (2002). He released his directorial debut “Killer Bride’s Perfect Crime” in 2009, a film he also wrote. He also starred in the movie adaptation of “Anokono Toriko” (2018).

Aiko Hanamura (Kaya Kiyohara) is a successful divorce attorney known for her kind heart and ability to connect with her clients. Unfortunately, she doesn't have much faith in romance and love herself, as her parents frequently fought when she was young, instead enjoying single life with her new puppy Sakura. While love might not be on Aiko's mind, it seems to find Sakura – in the form of a rescued dog named Shogun, owned by handsome but stoic animal hospital director Kai Shirosaki (Ryo Narita)! Sakura and Shogun are immediately smitten, bringing their two humans in closer proximity to each other. However, company heir Woo So Ha (Na In Woo), who has arrived in Japan from Korea with a secret mission that seems to involve Kai, might just make things more complicated. This drama was adapted from the webtoon "Dog-Like Romance" by Bo Hyeon and Mun Sseoni.

When Shizuku Tachibana (Yuko Araki), Yori Suzuki (Ryo Yoshizawa), and Subaru Tojo (Yosuke Sugino) were young children, they were firm friends with a shared dream: They all wanted to become famous.

But as they grew older, their families moved away and they lost contact with one another.

Celebrity dreams have come true for two of the three, with Shizuku Tachibana now a successful model and Subaru Tojo embarking on an acting career. Only Yori Suzuki has failed to make it big. Now a high school student, he decides he will stop at nothing in his quest to also become a star – and also reunite with Shizuku Tachibana, as he harbors a secret admiration for her.

He manages to transfer to the school she attends and also manages to land a role as a production assistant on a commercial she is shooting. By a stroke of luck, he manages to appear in the ad – developing phenomenal popularity overnight as a result.

Can he capitalize on his sudden success, and find a way to win Shizuku Tachibana’s heart – even after Subaru Tojo (who also has feelings for her) reappears on the scene?

This drama was based on a 2014 manga series of the same name.
