Rhydian Vaughan is a Taiwanese-British actor born on March 10, 1988, in Llanidloes, Wales. He spent most of his youth in the United Kingdom, where he attended the drama academy East 15 Acting School. He started his career in earnest when he appeared in two music videos for Taiwanese solo singer Rainie Yang in 2006. He made his full-length movie debut in “Winds of September” (2008). He then went on to appear in “Love” (2012) and the first two of the “Tiny Times” series of movies in 2013. More recently, he appeared in the movies “Lord of Shanghai” (2017) and “Reborn” (2018).

Chinese New Year is a time to reflect on relationships and family.

Wedding planner Jia Yi (Amber Kuo) is planning her 100th wedding, and the her sentimentality makes her want to get married. But her boyfriend (Rhydian Vaughan) is not committing.

Nana (Zhao Li Ying) goes into labor on New Year's Eve. But her husband, superstar Jing Ming (Jam Hsiao), must choose between being by her side for this important family event and his professional commitment to appear on a countdown show. 

Zhong Wei (Xia Yu) and Ya Lun (Gordon Lam) are overworked police officers. After capturing the suspect Hou Zi (Zhang Yi), they agree to let him say goodbye to his grandmother before being taken away. Zhong Wei and Ya Lun begin to think about their own families.

Picking up where “Tiny Times 1.0” left off, fashion magazine assistant editor Lin Xiao (Yang Mi) is still best friends with high school buddies and fellow Shanghai fashion aspirants Gu Li (Amber Kuo), Nan Xiang (Bea Hayden), and Tang Wanru (Evonne Hsieh).

However, a fateful birthday party takes an unpleasant turn when one of the friends unearths a skeleton in the closet – a romantic secret that threatens to divide the group. What’s more, a death in the family then leaves Gu Li in charge of the family firm – with rival businesspeople already taking aim at the company.

Things are also getting complex for Lin Xiao, who is still struggling to please her perfectionist boss – and developing doubts about the fidelity of her long-term boyfriend. Meanwhile, workmate Zhou Chong Guang (Cheney Chen) is starting to catch her eye…

Can the quartet get their friendship back on track, or is their relationship now soured beyond repair? Will Gu Li keep the business vultures away from the family business? And will Lin Xiao stick with her long-time lover, or take a chance on a new flame?

The movie is the second of four “Tiny Times” movies, based on a hit series of novels.

Lin Xiao (Yang Mi) is a recent graduate of Shanghai University. She still lives with her college roommates, three friends she has known since her high school days. The group includes the super-organized Gu Li (Amber Kuo), aspiring designer Nan Xiang (Bea Hayden), and serial worrier Tang Wanru (Evonne Hsieh).

Lin Xiao is also still dating her high school boyfriend.

But life starts to change pace when she takes a job as an editorial assistant at a popular fashion magazine. She soon finds that her demanding and aloof manager Gong Ming (Rhydian Vaughan) is a very hard person to please.

It looks like adjusting to the high-pressure world of high fashion may be harder than Lin Xiao first thought.

Can she really make it in the fashion world? Will the job take its toll on her love life? Or will her friendship with her three best friends help her pull through?
