Rene Liu is a popular Taiwanese singer and actress. Born on June 1, 1970, her given name is Liu Ruo Ying, but she also goes by Lau Yeuk Ying and Nai Cha. She made her music debut with an album in 1995 and her acting debut the same year with several film roles. She was the first star to win Best Actress awards at the Asia Pacific Film Festival in both television and film.
