Kang Ji Young, or JY, as she’s also known, is a South Korean singer and actress. She was born on January 18, 1994 in Paju, South Korea and made her debut in the entertainment world in 2008, when she joined the K-Pop girl group, KARA. In 2014 she left the group to focus on her studies in both acting and language. Later that year, she signed with a Japanese talent agency and has been actively involved as both a singer and actress in Japan, ever since. She made her acting debut in 2008, but it wasn’t until 2014 that she began taking on any leading roles. Since then, she has appeared in numerous variety shows, films, and television dramas, including “Rainbow Rose” (2012), “Osaka Loop Line 2” (2017), and “Sweet Munchies” (2020).

In a cozy late-night restaurant in Seoul, Park Jin Sung (Jung Il Woo) serves customers unique dishes perfectly matched to their chosen drinks. A talented chef with an uncanny ability to understand his patrons' cravings, Jin Sung creates a warm dining experience. Television producer Kim Ah Jin (Kang Ji Young) invites him to host a variety show, which becomes an instant hit and catapults him to fame. As Jin Sung works closely with Ah Jin, he begins developing romantic feelings for her. However, the arrival of successful fashion designer Kang Tae Wan (Lee Hak Joo) complicates their budding relationship. Caught between professional success and personal emotions, Jin Sung must decide whether his culinary skills and charm are enough to win Ah Jin's heart.
