Kim Da Ye is a South Korean actress. Born on September 24, 1990, she began her career as a model before breaking into acting in 2013. She appeared in the television dramas “Flower Boy Next Door” (2013) and “The Women’s Room” (2013), the film “Empire of Lust” (2015) and the web drama “Nightmare Teacher” (2016).

Ever since she was a child, field reporter Nam Hong Joo (Suzy) had the ability to see bad events before they occurred. However, she is often powerless to stop them from happening. Living across the street from her family’s restaurant is the prosecutor Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) who has seemingly also acquired the ability to foresee future events as well. Jae Chan receives a premonition of Hong Joo being framed for the death of a police officer by the corrupt lawyer Lee Yoo Beom, who was once his tutor, and rushes to prevent it from happening. The police officer (Jung Hae In) survives and also gains the ability to see the future. These three individuals realize that their lives are somehow intertwined through the dreams they keep having of one another.

“While You Were Sleeping” is a 2017 South Korean drama series directed by Oh Choong Hwan. It is not related to the 1995 American film by the same title starring Sandra Bullock. The script is written by Park Hye Ryun, who previously worked with Suzy on her acting debut in the television drama “Dream High” (2011) and with Lee Jong Suk in the drama “I Hear Your Voice” (2013) and “Pinocchio” (2014). The cast of While You Were Sleeping fills the Kdrama with laugh-out-loud moments, seamlessly transitioning to nail-biting sequences that are sure to get you hooked.

Can a female Peeping Tom get more than she bargained for? Ko Do Mi (Park Shin Hye) is a single woman living alone in the Ocean Village officetel complex. One fall day, she sees Han Tae Joon (Kim Jung San) and falls in love with him at first sight. When she realizes that he lives across the courtyard and she has a direct view into his apartment, she starts spying on him and voyeuristically capturing his daily routine. Around the same time, Do Mi develops an unexplained fear of people and open spaces and becomes more and more of a recluse. Working as a freelance copy editor, she is able to arrange for most of her assignments through the mail, email and text messages so she is able to limit her personal and professional interactions. 
 
But her insulated, comfortable routine comes to a crashing halt when Tae Joon’s younger brother, Enrique Keum (Yoon Si Yoon), a boy genius video game designer, returns to Korea after spending a year in Spain and moves in with Tae Joon. Enrique discovers Do Mi’s peeping and tries to expose her wrongdoing. But Oh Jin Rok (Kim Ji Hoon), a web comic writer who lives next door with his drawing partner Dong Hoon (Ko Gyung Pyo), tries to help her. Jin Rok is intrigued by Do Mi’s behavior, and when his editor rejects his web series proposal because it might infringe on Enrique’s video game copyright, he pitches another web comic about a lonely single woman much like Do Mi who lives her life voyeuristically. Suddenly, the fearful Do Mi is surrounded by flower boys (a Korean term that refers to young, pretty boys), including Watanabe Ryu (Kouki Mizuta), a Japanese chef who moves in on the same floor, forcing her to come out of her shell. 
 
“Flower Boy Next Door,” also known as “My Cute Guys,” “My Flower Boy Neighbor,” and “The Pretty Boy Next Door,” is a 2013 South Korean drama series directed by Jung Jung Hwa. Based on the webtoon “I Steal Peeks at Him Every Day” by Yoo Hyun Sook, the series is the third installment in tvN’s “Oh! Boy” Flower Boy series, which stars pretty boys that are designed to appeal to the teenage demographic. It follows “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” (2011) and “Shut Up Flower Boy Band” (2012).
