Kim Do Yun (1978)

Can a forbidden love affair endure? Chan Yeong (Lee Kyeon), an actor, finds himself falling for Dan Bi (Go Jun Hee), his co-star in a musical production. Yeong married his first love when he was 19, and they have a 7-year-old daughter together. But that doesn’t stop him from starting an affair with the bold Dan Bi. Yeong’s wife, Mi Sun (Dong Mi Shin), overlooks her immature husband’s straying and tries desperately to keep her family intact. Can her marriage survive the infidelity? “Drifting Away” is a 2009 film from director Kim Dong Won, who also directed “Bet on My Disco” (2002).
