Kim Mi Sook is an award-winning veteran South Korean actress. Born on March 26, 1959, she made her acting debut in the 1979 television series “Hometown of Legends” and is best known for her roles in the films “Marathon” (2005) and “Seven Days (2007), for which she received numerous acting nominations. Kim Mi Sook also has enjoyed a prolific career in television dramas over the past four decades, including in the recent dramas “I Love You, Don’t Cry” (2008), “Shining Inheritance” (2009), “City Hunter” (2011), “Queen Insoo” (2011), “Glorious Day” (2014), “All About My Mom” (2015-2016) and “The Flower in Prison” (2016). In addition to acting, Kim Mi Sook hosted three different radio music programs from 1990 to 2007, released several spoken-word albums, opened a school called Love Kindergarten in 1987 and served as its director until 2002.
