South Korea’s Muju County wants to host the 2002 Winter Olympics, but fears the bid will end in failure if the country does not have a national ski jumping team. The hopeful Coach Bang (Sung Dong Il) intervenes, cobbling together a team reluctantly led by Bob (Ha Jung Woo), a Korean-American alpine skier and adoptee who is looking for his birth mother. The coach also recruits the ex-drug addict Choi Hong Cheol (Kim Dong Wook), restaurant worker Ma Jae Bok (Choi Jae Hwan), and caretaker Kang Chil Gu (Kim Ji Suk).
