Son Tae Young is South Korean actress and former Miss Korea. Born on August 19, 1980, she rose to fame after competing as Miss Daegu in the 2000 Miss Korea pageant, placing second runner-up in the competition. She then represented Korea at the 2000 Miss International pageant, where she won first runner-up and the Miss Photogenic Award. Son Tae Young later turned to acting and starred in many popular films and television dramas, including “I Am Sam” (2007), “Iljimae” (2008), “Queen of Ambition” (2013) and “You’re the Best, Lee Soon Shin” (2013). She also hosted several lifestyle and fashion programs, including “Son Tae Young’s Life Magazine” (2008), “Actress House – Season 2” (2011) and “Son Tae Young’s W Show!” (2013). Son Tae Young married actor Kwon Sang Woo in 2008, and they have two children.
