Sung Yu Ri is an award-winning South Korean singer and actress. She was born on March 3, 1981, in Tübingen, Baden-Württemberg, in what was then West Germany. Her father, Sung Jong Hyun, was a prominent theology professor at Presbyterian College and Theological Seminary and was studying in West Germany at the time of Sung Yu Ri’s birth. She returned with her family to Korea when she was 4 years old. Sung Yu Ri made her debut as a singer as part of the K-pop girl group Fin.K.L in 1998 and enjoyed tremendous success until the group became inactive in 2005. After all the members began pursuing solo careers in 2002, Sung Yu Ri turned to acting and made her acting debut in the 2002 television drama “Bad Girls.” She has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including “Snow Queen” (2006), “Hong Gil Dong” (2008), “Swallow the Sun” (2009), “Romance Town” (2011), “Feast of the Gods” (2012) and “The Secret of Birth” (2013). Sung Yu Ri also served as host of the popular television reality series “Healing Camp” from 2013 to 2015.

Four-member girl group Fin.K.L. set the standard for K-pop in the late 1990s, transforming the entertainment scene with a string of popular hits. In 2002, they halted activities and went their own separate ways. But for a very brief reunion in 2004, the four women – Lee Hyori, Lee Jin, Ock Joo Hyun, and Sung Yuri – have not worked together since.

Since their Fin.K.L. days, the women have all pursued successful careers, with three going on to become in-demand actresses, and Lee Hyori becoming one of the most successful Korean female solo singers of all time.

All that changes when the quartet reunites for a cross-country camping trip reality show that sees them travel the length and breadth of South Korea – reminiscing about old times, catching up on each other’s lives, and getting into brand-new adventures.

At the end of their quest, the four women must decide if they will reunite once more – on stage this time – to perform at a concert marking 21 years since their 1998 debut release “Blue Rain.” Will the trip generate enough nostalgia to convince them to perform as Fin.K.L. once more – or will they decide to let go of the past once and for all?
