During the Japanese colonial period, two events paved the way for the independence of Korea, the March 1st Movement and the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea. And with it, a covert armament for freedom was born, the Heroic Corps. The man leading the corps goes by the name of Won Bong, his real name only a few people know. He rarely stays in one area for more than two hours and sleeps for only short periods at a time. With fiery passion in his heart, he moves about swiftly and dreams for his country's independence. Young Jin, a Korean woman raised by a Japanese military doctor, follows in her surrogate father's footsteps, and through a series of events, attends a prestigious medical university in Shanghai. She returns to Joseon and becomes the first female surgeon. The two of them cross paths, and although they follow different ideologies, Won Bong soon realizes his need for her and begins to regret sending her deep into enemy territory.

There has been a prophecy throughout the Silla era that the royal blood won't have male descendants once twins are born in the royal family. When the twin daughters, Cheonmyeong and Deokman, are born, King Jinpyeong hides Deokman away from Silla and makes her live in the Taklamakan Desert in China, making it impossible for Mishil to trace her. Deokman starts to wonder about her origin and birth, so she disguises herself as a man and enters Silla. Princess Cheonmyeong believes Deokman is a man, so she has Deokman be a member of Hwarang. At Hwarang, Deokman meets Yusin, who contributes to the unification of the three countries afterward, and cooperates with him to drag Mishil down. Amidst the conflict with Mishil, Deokman's identity as a princess of Silla is revealed. When Deokman escapes to live, she meets Bidam, the son Mishil has abandoned. Deokman joins hands with Yusin and Bidam to topple Mishil. Check out if Deokman succeeds in becoming a clever leader to rebuild Silla.

Brothers Kwang Shik (Kim Joo Hyuk) and Kwang Tae (Bong Tae Gyu) couldn't be more different when it comes to their approach toward women. However, the brothers' romantic lives are about to get a shake up: Kwang Shik runs into Yoon Kyung (Lee Yo Won), who he had a crush on in college but didn't ask out, while Kwang Tae meets a woman named Kyung Jae (Kim Ah Joong) who doesn't seem to fall for him as easily as he expected. Can Kwang Shik and Kwang Tae manage to find success in these relationships, or is true love just out of reach? This 2005 Korean film was directed by Kim Hyun Seok.
