Lee Yeon Hee is a South Korean actress. Born on January 9, 1988, she started her career by appearing in the music video of Moon Hee Joon’s “ALONE” in 2001 and then made her acting debut in the 2004 television drama “Emperor of the Sea.” She has been a popular choice for music videos, while also acting in many films and television dramas, including “East of Eden” (2008), “Gu Family Book” (2013), “Miss Korea” (2013) and “Splendid Politics” (2015).

Four very different couples with very different problems, needs, and concerns face up to their worries and obstacles at the start of a brand new year.

Ji Ho (Kim Kang Woo) is a divorcee police detective from a violent crime unit who meets Hyo Young (Yoo In Na), a rehab trainer who needs protection as she seeks to conclude her divorce. The two have their own issues, but find that the longer they spend together, the more they realize they have in common.

Jae Heon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Jin Ah (Lee Yeon Hee) are two young twentysomethings who are having a hard time in their respective lives and travel to Argentina, where they meet for the first time. Over time, they realize that they could inspire one another to take positive steps to rebuild their dreams.

Meanwhile, Yong Chan (Lee Dong Hwi) is the chief executive of a travel agency. He is set to wed his fiancée Yao Lin (Chen Du Ling). But when he is cheated out of all of his money, he decides to keep the setback from her – and her family.

An avid gardener (Choi Sooyoung) is beset on all sides by naysayers and prejudice as she tries to make a success of her romance with her boyfriend Rae Hwan (Yoo Tae Oh), a snowboarder who represents his country at the Paralympic Games.

“New Year Blues” is a 2020 South Korean movie that was directed by Hong Ji Young.

Tae Pyung was born with the ability to see how one will die and what will happen to them right before death when he looks them in the eye. He sees the vision about his death too. However, the ability of him doesn't work on Joon Young, who is a detective at the Violent Crimes Department of Central Police Station. Since her father died when she was little, Joon Young kept a scar on her heart and never relied on anyone. However, as she gets to know about Tae Pyung, she wants to heal Tae Pyung's wounds, and at the same time, she wants her scar to be cured. Meanwhile, Tae Pyung finds it strange as he cannot see the vision about Joon Young's death only. He soon gets filled with fear, and finally, he's faced with the truth that he couldn't discover.

Yoon So So (Lee Yeon Hee) leaves on a trip to Europe with her college boyfriend despite her parents’ disapproval. A few years later, her boyfriend heartlessly comes back to Korea alone, leaving So So (Lee Yeon Hee) behind. She couldn't help but start working as a tour guide in France to make a living. She leads a group of people traveling with the “Luxurious Premium Tour Package: 1 Week in France”. So So (Lee Yeon Hee) always does her best so that those traveling to a faraway place can make the best memories of their lives. However, this team isn’t easy to break the ice. A man that was dumped by his girlfriend, a couple that has been dating for 10 years, an old couple that growls at each other during the entire trip, and father and daughter that seem like strangers… the members couldn't be more troublesome.
It's especially hard with San Ma Roo (Jung Yong Hwa), a guy who travels alone in this group, who is very depressed. He fought with his girlfriend 3 days before the trip and had to leave her behind. He is a nuisance from day one. So So (Lee Yeon Hee) is worried he might get into trouble during the trip and keeps an eye on him all along. Her assumption proves to be right as Ma Roo (Jung Yong Hwa) loses his wallet and the two are left alone in the city. The two get to know each other better as they spend a day together in an unfamiliar place. After sharing each other's pain from previous relationships, they comfort each other and start to develop feelings mutually. The trip comes to an end and Ma Roo (Jung Yong Hwa) has to leave for Korea. They say goodbye at the airport without being able to express how sad they are to part. 

With such strong feelings for each other, will So So (Lee Yeon Hee) and Ma Roo (Jung Yong Hwa) be able to meet again?
