Biography

Kim Yoo Jung is one of the most celebrated South Korean child actresses of her generation. Born on September 22, 1999, she was discovered at the age of 5 when she unexpectedly won the Most Popular award in a contest that her older sister entered. She made her debut in a TV commercial in 2003 and her acting debut in the 2004 film “DMZ.” Kim Yoo Jung quickly became one of the most prolific child actresses and has won many Best Young Actress awards. Some of her most acclaimed roles include “Iljimae” (2008), “Dong Yi” (2010), “Flames of Desire” (2010), “Grudge: The Revolt of Gumiho” (2010), “The Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012), “May Queen” (2012), “Golden Rainbow” (2013), “Secret Door” (2014) and “Angry Mom” (2015).
