Kim Yoo Jung is one of the most celebrated South Korean child actresses of her generation. Born on September 22, 1999, she was discovered at the age of 5 when she unexpectedly won the Most Popular award in a contest that her older sister entered. Min Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok) is a dog-lover who has a beloved puppy named Runni. He is devoted to Runni, but looks to be forced to part with his pet when he meets and falls in love with a woman. He proposes marriage to her and she accepts. But she has a dog hair allergy, which means he will no longer be able to live with Runni. Reluctantly, he decides to look for a new home for his dog, and enlists the help of his older cousin Jin Kook (Cha Tae Hyun).

Jin Kook is a down-on-his-luck cafe operator whose business has just failed. But he agrees to help Min Soo find a suitable “guardian” for Runni. This task proves to be much harder than it first seems, though – the candidates who come forward all appear to be experiencing chaotic challenges. But during the course of the selection process, they get into all sorts of trouble – a fact that leads them with an ever-expanding collection of dogs to care for. Eventually, they have not one but eight pooches to look after. With time running out, will Min Soo and Jin Kook ever find a new home for their pack of puppies?

When a North Korean spy fails to complete his mission in South Korea, his children, Myung Hoon (T.O.P) and Hye In (Kim Yoo Jung), are sent to a North Korean labor prison camp.
