Kim Seul Gi is a South Korean comedian and actress. Born on October 10, 1991, she got her start in the entertainment industry in 2011 when she became a cast member of the sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live Korea.” She is a popular guest on other variety shows and radio programs. Kim Seul Gi made her acting debut in the 2012 television drama “Heartstrings” and has since starred in many notable roles in film and television, including “Flower Boys Next Door” (2013), “Beautiful Man” (2013), “Surplus Princess” (2014), “Discovery of Love” (2014), “Kill Me, Heal Me” (2015), “Oh My Ghostess” (2015), “Splash Splash Love” (2015) and “Second to Last Love” (2016). She has won a number of Best New Actress Awards for her memorable roles.

Ki Woo (Jung Il Woo) and Ji Sook (Kim Seul Gi) are a homeless couple who live on the road with their two young children. To make matters worse, Ji Sook is pregnant and the children have never even learned to read or write. They live in a tent that they pitch near highway rest areas. And they make a tiny amount of money by approaching drivers who have stopped in the rest areas and telling them that they have left their wallets at home and have run out of gas. Ki Woo asks drivers to give them their account numbers, and that he will reimburse them when he gets back home.

One day, they manage to convince a woman named Young Sun (Ra Mi Ran) to give them money as she makes her way to her son’s grave. She and her husband Do Hwan (Bek Hyunjin) have been in mourning since their child’s untimely death. One day, Young Sun pulls into another highway rest area and sees Ki Woo pulling the same stunt with another driver. Outraged, she calls the police, who promptly arrest him. But Ji Sook and the children refuse to leave Ki Woo’s side, and follow him to the police station where he is detained. When Young Sun sees this pitiful group sitting outside the police station, she starts to feel pity for the family. Can she right this situation – and help heal her own wounds?

Can a female Peeping Tom get more than she bargained for? Ko Do Mi (Park Shin Hye) is a single woman living alone in the Ocean Village officetel complex. When she realizes that he lives across the courtyard and she has a direct view into his apartment, she starts spying on him and voyeuristically capturing his daily routine. Around the same time, Do Mi develops an unexplained fear of people and open spaces and becomes more and more of a recluse. Working as a freelance copy editor, she is able to arrange for most of her assignments through the mail, email and text messages so she is able to limit her personal and professional interactions. 
 
But her insulated, comfortable routine comes to a crashing halt when Tae Joon’s younger brother, Enrique Keum (Yoon Si Yoon), a boy genius video game designer, returns to Korea after spending a year in Spain and moves in with Tae Joon. Enrique discovers Do Mi’s peeping and tries to expose her wrongdoing. But Oh Jin Rok (Kim Ji Hoon), a web comic writer who lives next door with his drawing partner Dong Hoon (Ko Gyung Pyo), tries to help her. Jin Rok is intrigued by Do Mi’s behavior, and when his editor rejects his web series proposal because it might infringe on Enrique’s video game copyright, he pitches another web comic about a lonely single woman much like Do Mi who lives her life voyeuristically. Suddenly, the fearful Do Mi is surrounded by flower boys (a Korean term that refers to young, pretty boys), including Watanabe Ryu (Kouki Mizuta), a Japanese chef who moves in on the same floor, forcing her to come out of her shell. 
 
“Flower Boy Next Door,” also known as “My Cute Guys,” “My Flower Boy Neighbor,” and “The Pretty Boy Next Door,” is a 2013 South Korean drama series directed by Jung Jung Hwa. Based on the webtoon “I Steal Peeks at Him Every Day” by Yoo Hyun Sook, the series is the third installment in tvN’s “Oh! Boy” Flower Boy series, which stars pretty boys that are designed to appeal to the teenage demographic. It follows “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” (2011) and “Shut Up Flower Boy Band” (2012).

Their worlds collide at a performing arts college, where he is majoring in Western Music and she in Korean Traditional Music. Shin, a moody and aloof city boy, is initially smitten with dance professor Jung Yoon Soo (So Yi Hyun), but that quickly changes when he meets the feisty Gyu Won, who is considered Korean folk music royalty. Both Shin and Gyu Won care a lot about their respective musical styles, at the expense of everything else in their lives. Can their two divergent passions be reconciled? The two lead actors previously starred together in the 2009 drama “You’re Beautiful.”
