Jung Min Ah is a South Korean actress born on March 3, 1994. She started acting at a very young age, appearing in the drama “The Maengs’ Golden Era” (2002) and the movie “Yesterday” (2002) while aged only eight. She has since gone on to appear in a number of titles, including “Damo” (2003), “Fashion '70s (2005), and “Time Between Dog and Wolf” (2007). She studied theater and film at Chung-Ang University and has also appeared in a number of more recent drama titles, including 2018’s “Life on Mars” and “Mr. Sunshine,” as well as “Doctor John” (2019).

Anesthesiologist Cha Yo Han (Ji Sung) possesses an uncanny ability to diagnose rare and inexplicable pain conditions in a short amount of time, resulting in the nickname “Doctor Ten Seconds.” While his unconventional methods often clash with his colleagues, he always has his patients’ comfort in mind. Unfortunately, this mindset landed him in prison after he medically euthanized a patient – who was also a murderer – whose pain he couldn’t treat. Yo Han keeps his past conviction a secret from his new coworkers, but that proves difficult when he reunites with empathetic resident Kang Si Young (Lee Se Young), who met Yo Han during his incarceration. As Yo Han and Si Young work together to help alleviate their patients’ pain, they face unprecedented medical and ethical dilemmas that challenge their views. This drama was based on the 2012 Japanese novel “On Hand of God” by Yo Kusakabe.

Doctor John

After overcoming a difficult childhood, Jang Hye Sung (Lee Bo Young) finally succeeds in becoming a public defender. However, she sees her job purely as a way to make money, and tends to push people away with her blunt, jaded personality. Her outlook changes, though, when she unexpectedly runs into high school student Park Soo Ha (Lee Jong Suk) who claims he can help her. Soo Ha developed a strange ability to read people’s minds through eye contact after his father’s murder ten years prior – and teenage Hye Sung, who also witnessed the incident, eventually put the murderer behind bars. Though initially reluctant, Hye Sung allows Soo Ha to stick around, and his ability gives Hye Sung additional assistance in the courtroom. However, when Soo Ha’s father’s murderer is released, Hye Sung and Soo Ha are faced with their most dangerous situation yet.
