Im Soo Jung is a celebrated South Korean actress who has won numerous Best Actress awards. Born on July 11, 1979, she began her career as a magazine model in the late 1990s. She branched into acting in the 2001 television series “School 4,” but it was the 2003 film “A Tale of Two Sisters” that catapulted her to stardom and garnered many Best Actress awards. She has starred mostly in films since then, including her award-winning roles in “Lump Sugar” (2006), “I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK” (2006), “Happiness” (2007) and “All About My Wife” (2012). Im Soo Jung’s starring role in the 2017 television drama “Chicago Typewriter” marked her return to the small screen for the first time in 13 years after “I’m Sorry, I Love You” in 2004.
