Jang Dong Gun is a South Korean actor who was born on March 7, 1972, in Seoul, South Korea. He studied at the Korea National University of Arts School of Drama, and went on to make his acting debut in 1992 in the drama series “Our Heaven.” He went on to appear in hit movies “Friend (2001) and “Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War” (2004), as well as the more recent film titles “VIP” (2017) and “Rampant” (2018), as well as the drama series “Arthdal Chronicles” (2019).

Jang Dong Gun

During the Joseon Dynasty, Crown Prince (not named) plans a coup against King Lee Jo (Kim Eui Sang), who is subservient to the Qing Emperor, by acquiring arquebuses from Dutch traders.
