Biography

Kim Kap Soo is an award-winning South Korean actor who has enjoyed a prolific career in film, TV and theater. Born on April 7, 1957, he made his acting debut in 1977 and has starred in many iconic film and television roles as well as produced and directed many popular theater productions. Some of his most recent television drama roles include “Inspiring Generation” (2014), “Marriage, Not Dating” (2014), “Iron Man” (2014), “Blood” (2015), “Divorce Lawyer in Love” (2015) and “All About My Mom” (2015). In addition to many acting awards, Kim Kap Soo was named Most Influential Star at the 4th Mnet 20’s Choice Awards in 2010 and received the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the 4th Korea Popular Culture & Arts Awards in 2013. The actor also owns a master-class acting studio.
