To help pay back her credit card debt, Mi Rae enters a beauty pageant with a large cash prize – but a bizarre series of events leads to her forcing the current, corrupt mayor to resign, and Mi Rae ends up getting elected mayor herself! While Mi Rae has limited experience in politics, she wants to do right by her constituents, even if it means butting heads with deputy mayor Jo Gook (Cha Seung Won), who has his own political aspirations.
