Lee Seung Chul is an award-winning South Korean singer. He was born on December 5, 1966 and made his singing debut in 1985. Since then, he has released an impressive number of albums and has appeared in a handful of films and television programs, including “The Legend, The New Singer” (2021).

In 2007, during the Afghanistan conflict, a small South Korean military contingent faces a critical situation when a group of Christian missionaries is kidnapped by Taliban gunmen in the Ghazni Province. The terrorists demand ransom and threaten to kill the hostages one by one, forcing the South Korean government to take action. Dae Sik (Hyun Bin), a National Intelligence Service agent, and diplomat Jae Ho (Hwang Jung Min) are dispatched to the dangerous warzone to negotiate for the hostages' lives, risking everything in a tense and high-stakes rescue mission. Based on a true story, the mission becomes increasingly perilous as both the hostages and the negotiators' lives hang in the balance. This is a 2023 South Korean movie directed by Yim Soon Rye.
