During the Joseon Dynasty, there is growing unrest and declining confidence in the king to rule the country.

A group of rebels wants to overthrow King Yeongjo (Ryu Tae Joon), but they have to break their leader, Lee In Jwa (Kim Ji Hoon), out of jail first. 

Kim Ho (Jung Hae In), a former guardsman for the king, has been demoted to work as a prison guard. But he is still considered the best swordsman in all of Joseon. Can In Jwa and his men fight their way past Kim Ho to follow through with their plans?
