Shin Goo is a celebrated veteran South Korean actor. Born on August 13, 1936, as Shin Sun Gi, he began his career as a child actor, winning the Best Child Actor award at the 7th Kyoto Awards in 1939 for his role in “Man.” Many more Best Actor Awards have followed during his prolific career in films, television shows and theater productions. Some of his recent memorable roles include “A Hundred Years’ Inheritance” (2013), “God’s Gift – 14 Days” (2014) and “Laurel Tree Tailors” (2016-2017), as well as the popular reality series “Grandpas Over Flowers” (2013-2015) and the film “Proof of Innocence” (2016).
