Korean Remake Of BBC’s “Luther” Announces Full Cast

As the wife of an indifferent yet ambitious husband, Yoo I Hwa (Kim Seo Hyung) lives a comfortable enough life. But with a husband who spends more time at work than with her, she often finds herself wondering if this is all life has to offer.&nbsp;

With a life that’s beginning to feel rather empty, I Hwa decides it’s time to do something for herself. Taking a job as a contract employee at a savings bank, I Hwa gradually begins to regain her confidence. However, as her confidence grows, so does her ambition. No longer satisfied with her meager existence, I Hwa decides to take a step in a very dangerous direction as she begins to embezzle money from the bank’s VIP customers.

Quickly sinking into a world in which she can’t escape, I Hwa soon finds her life irreversibly twisted. Will she ever find a way to escape this nightmare she’s created for herself?

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Mitsuyo Kakuta, “Pale Moon” is a 2023 South Korean crime suspense drama directed by Yoo Jong Seon and Jung Won Hee.

Blackmailed and in love, Jang Tae San, a member of a criminal organization, is about to be a father. With a new life ahead of him, Tae San decides to give up a life of crime. However, before he gets the chance to retire, he is forced to take the blame for a murder his boss, Moon Il Seok, had committed or would see his girlfriend, Seo In Hye, die. Without question, Tae San tells In Hye to get an abortion and ends the relationship. Eight years later, after serving the prison sentence and still affiliated with the gang, Tae San runs into In Hye and finds out that she never got the abortion and that his daughter, Soo Jin, is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant. Apparently, In Hye is not a match. Luckily, Tae San turns out to be a perfect match. He decides to save his daughter\u2019s life and schedules the operation to occur in two weeks when suddenly he is placed under arrest for the death of two detectives.

Dream High 2

Lee Han Gyu (Song Kang Ho) is a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent. He is charged with heading a team with an important mission: It must protect a North Korean dissident – the cousin of Pyongyang’s leader. But the mission is a total failure: Instead of sharing important intelligence with his commanding officers, Lee Han Gyu’s team goes it alone. Meanwhile, Ji Won (Kang Dong Won), a member of a secret unit of North Korean spies living in South Korea also runs into problems when one of his fellow spies defects to the South mid-mission. The target is assassinated, but both Lee Han Gyu and Ji Won are hung out to dry: The North thinks Ji Won betrayed his country, while the NIS thinks Lee Han Gyu is a liability.

But six years later, the two men’s paths cross once again, with Lee Han Gyu now working as a private detective. The latter offers Ji Won the chance to live with him and join forces in a business arrangement. But will this uneasy partnership pay dividends for either man? And can they really trust one another?

“Secret Reunion” is a 2010 South Korean movie that was directed by Jang Hoon.
