About Yoo Yeon Seok: 
Born Ahn Yeon Seok on April 11, 1984 in Jinju South Gyeongsang Province in South Korea, Yoo Yeon Seok followed his older brother to Seoul while in his junior year in high school. When he decided to take acting classes, Yoo met a friend that later went on to work with Oldboy film director Park Chan Wook. Noting some physical similarities, his friend encouraged him to audition for a role in the critically-acclaimed film Oldboy (2003). Yoo Yeon Seok ended up making his acting debut with a minor role in Oldboy, and continued his studies at the Sejong University, eventually earning a degree in Film Arts.

After a long hiatus, Yoo Yeon Seok returned in the medical drama “General Hospital 2” in 2008. Later in 2013, his role in the popular television drama “Reply 1994” (2013) propelled him into the limelight. In 2015, Yoo was cast into his first leading role as a chef and restaurant owner in the romantic comedy series “Warm and Cozy” written by the Hong sisters and set in Jeju Island. Later that year, he went on to star in another romantic comedy “The Beauty Inside” (2015).

Not much is known about his personal life, only that he has no wife or girlfriend at this moment and has publicly stated that he is in no hurry to get married, despite pressure from his peers and elders. Min Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok) is a dog-lover who has a beloved puppy named Runni. He is devoted to Runni, but looks to be forced to part with his pet when he meets and falls in love with a woman. War games threaten to turn deadly after political skullduggery by international political extremists threatens to plunge the entire East Asian region into a catastrophic war.

Nostalgia again takes center stage in the mid-1990s, when K-pop group Seo Taiji and Boys exploded in popularity and everyone was obsessed with the Korean Basketball League. 

Sung Na Jung (Go Ara) is a polished woman living in modern-day Seoul with her husband and son. But she remembers back to 1994, the year that her parents (Sung Dong Il and Lee Il Hwa) moved from the Gyeongsang Province to the big city of Seoul to operate the Shin Chon Boarding House. That year, when she was 20 years old and crazy about the college basketball star Lee Sang Min, was a turning point in her life. 

Among the other fresh transplants from the countryside living in her parents’ boarding house that year would be her future husband. There’s Trash (Jung Woo), a third-year medical student who has grown up like her older brother; Sam Cheon Po (Kim Sung Kyun), a computer engineering major who feels alienated in Seoul; Haitai (Son Ho Joon), another computer engineering major who plays video games all the time; Bing Grae (Baro), a first-year medical student; and his cousin, Chil Bong (Yoo Yeon Seok), a pitcher on the Yonsei University Baseball Team. Also boarding at the house is the dark female student with the foul mouth, Jo Yoon Jin (Min Dohee).
