Won Woong Jae

Yoo Suk (Kim Ju Hyuk), a kind-hearted man, discovers his fiancée Na Ri (Lee Si Young) is manipulating him for money. After taking out a loan for their love nest, Na Ri abandons him when she can no longer exploit his finances. While searching for her, Yoo Suk encounters Ae Yeon (Lee Yoon Ji), a heartbroken police officer, and they gradually develop a connection. Na Ri becomes entangled with a dangerous mobster, stealing his money and testing the limits of their relationship. This film explores themes of betrayal, unexpected love, and personal redemption. "Couples" is a 2011 South Korean movie directed by Jung Yong Gi, based on the 2005 Japanese film "A Stranger of Mine."
