Yang Ik Joon is a South Korean actor and director who was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1975. He graduated from the Department of Entertainment and Acting at the Kongju Communication Arts College. He debuted in the early 2000s, and won the Best Actor award at the Mise-en-Scène Short Film Festival for his role in the 2005 short film “Ooh, You Make Me Sick.” In 2005, he made his directorial debut with the short film “Always Behind You,” following up with his feature debut “Breathless” in 2008. He has appeared in a number of hit feature films, such as “Set Me Free” (2014) and “A Quiet Dream” (2016).
