Son Hyun Joo is an award-winning South Korean veteran actor. Born on June 24, 1965, he began his acting career in 1991 and has won numerous acting awards in both films and television dramas. His roles in the drama “The Chaser” (2012) and film “Hide and Seek” (2013) were unexpected hits, and he also on Best Actor at the 39th Moscow International Film Festival in 2017 for his role in the film “Ordinary Person.”

Amidst the 1997 Asian financial crisis, Pyo Jong Rok (Yoo Hai Jin), the CFO of soju company Gukbo Group, is faced with a grim financial outlook. He initially plans to file for financial rehabilitation and debt forgiveness, but Choi In Beom (Lee Je Hoon), an ambitious employee from global investment firm Solqueen, approaches Jong Rok with an acquisition proposal.
