Shin Ha Kyun is a veteran award-winning South Korean actor. Born on May 30, 1974, he trained as a stage actor at the Seoul Institute of the Arts and appeared in many plays by Jang Jin. Shin Ha Kyun made the leap to the big screen when Jang Jin cast him in his first feature film, “The Happenings,” in 1998. The 2000 film “Joint Security Area” catapulted Shin Ha Kyung to fame while the films “Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance” (2002) and “Save the Green Planet” (2003) cemented his reputation as a respected actor. Although most of his career has been spent in films, Shin Ha Kyun also has starred in the popular television dramas “Harvest Villa” (2010), “Brain” (2011), “All About My Romance” (2013), “Mr. Baek” (2014) and “Pied Piper” (2016). Shin Ha Kyun’s niece is Park Eun Young of the K-pop girl group Brave Girls.
