To Woo Ryong's surprise, the villagers live in peace and prosperity, especially compared to the rest of the war-torn nation, under the leadership of the strict village chief (Lee Sung Min). There's just one problem: the village is overrun with rats. Woo Ryong negotiates a deal with the village chief to handle the infestation in exchange for money to help pay for medical treatment for his son. However, after Woo Ryong completes the job, the village chief reneges on the agreement and refuses to pay. Deeply upset, Woo Ryong lures the rats back to the village, leading to devastating consequences. This film was inspired by the German folktale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin"

In Sang (Lee Joon), the only son of powerful, wealthy attorney Han Jeong Ho (Yoo Jun Sang) and socialite Choi Yeon Hee (Yoo Ho Jung), faces enormous pressure to follow in their footsteps. When In Sang meets Bom (Ko A Seong), a girl from an average family, at an English study camp, his worldview completely changes, and the two eventually fall in love. However, Bom doesn’t know the entire truth about In Sang’s family background, and when Bom ends up pregnant with In Sang’s child, she’s in for a rude surprise. As Bom’s pregnancy progresses, In Sang’s parents request that she move in with them – to protect their reputation. Bom is determined to remain cool and collected despite Jeong Ho and Yeon Hee's disrespect, but In Sang struggles with his desire to please his parents while also loving Bom. Will this dysfunction family manage to work things out?
