2024 MAMA Awards Announces Star-Studded Lineup Of Presenters

What happens if you drop four "city boys" into the wilderness of Lapland, Finland? Cha Eun Woo, Lee Je Hoon, Lee Dong Hwi, and Kwak Dong Yeon are about to find out! Trading in their cushy apartments for a cabin in the woods, where running water and electricity are luxuries, they'll have to chop wood, bathe in a river, and more. There's no better way for them to bond than by suffering a little together – and maybe this break from modern society is what they need to recharge.

Jae Hee (Kim Go Eun) is free-spirited young woman who lives life on her own terms and wants to fall in love. However, this often makes her the subject of gossip and rumors among her university classmates. Heung Soo (Steve Noh), on the other hand, insists on keeping his true self locked away, not wanting anyone else to find out that he's attracted to men. When Jae Hee happens to find out Heung Soo's secret, he braces himself for the worst – but instead finds a friend in Jae Hee. As the two begin to grow closer, they learn important lessons about life and love, including the importance of loving yourself. This movie was adapted from the novel of the same name by Park Sang Young.

Also among their number is Baek Ma Tan (Bae Hyeon Seong), the heir of the owners of Gaus Electronics’ fiercest rival – Power Group. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and has never known hardship. But he shocked his entire family when he decided to join Gaus as a junior employee! His polar opposite is Geon Gang Mi (Kang Min Ah), who comes from more modest origins and has always tried to pull herself up by her bootstraps – pushing herself to succeed at every step (although she does have a tendency to change when she drinks alcohol!). While they seem to have very little in common at first, they slowly begin to form a bond, with possible sparks of romance in the air! Will any of the marketing team succeed in escaping? Or will they eventually find a way to quell the workplace chaos?

This drama was based on a web-based cartoon of the same name by Kwak Baek Soo. The cartoon was serialized from 2011 to 2019.
