Kim Yun Seok is an award-winning South Korean actor. Born on January 21, 1967, he made his acting debut in the 1994 film “A Little Lover.” He has had an illustrious career mostly in films since, winning numerous Best Actor awards. Some of his best known roles include the films “The Chaser” (2008), “Punch” (2011), “Tazza: The Hidden Card” (2014) and “Will You Be There?” (2016).

The year is 1991 and in Mogadishu, the Somalian capital, a group of South Korean diplomats including Ambassador Han Shin Sung (Kim Yun Seok) and the intelligence agent Kang Dae Jin (Jo In Sung), are trying to win the support of Somalia’s government in an upcoming vote for membership of the United Nations. Their efforts are being closely shadowed by diplomats from North Korea’s embassy in Mogadishu, headed by Ambassador Rim Yong Su (Heo Joon Ho). Both groups of diplomats try to outwit one another as they try to curry favor from the Somalian President.

But when protests against the Mogadishu government turn violent, a brutal civil war breaks out, with street fighting and armed militia soldiers running amok. The maelstrom threatens to engulf both groups of diplomats, cutting them off from communication channels in Seoul and Pyongyang. In desperation, Rim Yong Su comes to his South Korean counterpart to ask for refuge. Saying yes would normally be seen as an act of treason for Han Shin Sung – but these circumstances are anything but normal for both parties…

The year is 1978. The city of Busan, South Korea, has been sent into shock after a young girl went missing. Police believe she has been kidnapped. Two weeks have passed since she vanished, and the kidnapper has not contacted the police. In the absence of any further evidence, the police force presumes she has been killed. But the girl’s mother refuses to give up hope that her child is still alive. In her desperation, she reaches out to a famous fortune teller named Kim Joong San (Yoo Hae Jin).

The seer tells her that the young girl is alive and well – and makes a number of other predictions. And he says that if the veteran investigator Gong Gil Yong (Kim Yun Seok) can be persuaded to help, the girl’s life could well be saved. Gong Gil Yong is skeptical about all this. But when Kim Joong San’s prophecies begin to come true, this skepticism begins to melt away. Could these two men team up to save the girl from a dreadful fate?

Popie (Lee Jung Jae), Yenicall (Jun Ji Hyun), Chewing Gum (Kim Hae Sook) and Zampano (Kim Soo Hyun) are a team of South Korean professional thieves that had just successfully stolen a valuable antique vase from an art gallery.

Unbeknownst to Macao Park, Pepsee (Kim Hye Soo) has just been released from prison and joins the team on the trip to Hong Kong to meet Macao Park. Pepsee was romantically involved with Macao Park but ended up going to jail after he made off with all the gold bars on a previous job.

In Hong Kong, the group meets a local crew of thieves: Chen (Simon Yam), Andrew (Oh Dal Soo), Julie (Angelica Lee) and Johnny (Derek Tsang).
