Onew, born Lee Jin Ki, is an award-winning South Korean singer, songwriter, actor, and television personality. He was born on December 14, 1989, in Gwangmyeong, South Korea, and made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2008, as the leader and lead vocalist of the K-pop boy band, Shinee. In 2010, he made his debut as a theater actor, taking his first role in the musical, “Brothers Were Brave”. That same year, he appeared as an MC in two separate television music programs and made his small-screen debut, taking his first role in a television drama. Since then, he has appeared in a number of theatrical productions, films, television dramas, and variety programs, including “Music Bank K-Chart in Hanoi” (2015) and “Descendants of the Sun” (2016).

South Korean special forces officer Yoo Si Jin (Song Joong Ki) falls for surgeon Kang Mo Yeon (Song Hye Kyo) but their ideological differences force them to split up. Now, war has broken out in a faraway nation, and Si Jin’s unit is deployed on the battleground. Coincidentally, an unpleasant workplace incident has forced Mo Yeon to join a group of medical volunteers in the same country.
