Kim Ji Suk is a South Korean actor. Born on April 21, 1981, he attended middle school and high school in England and majored in German at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. He also has a master’s degree in Cultural Contents Planning from Kyung Hee University. Kim Ji Suk started his career as a rapper in the boy band LEO but the group disbanded after only eight months. His agency recommended he take his stage name because his birth name, Kim Bo Seok, could be confused with two other veteran actors. Kim Ji Suk began his acting career in the 2004 music video for Kim Hyung Joong’s “She’s Laughing,” followed by several minor roles. But he became a household name after he appeared in the successful 2009 film “Take Off.” He has starred in many other films and television dramas since, including “Slave Hunters” (2010), “I Need Romance 2” (2012), “Cheongdam-dong Alice” (2012), “Angel Eyes” (2014), “Unkind Women” (2015), “Cheer Up!” (2015) and “Oh Hae Young Again” (2016) and “20th Century Boy and Girl” (2017).
