Dong Hae's mother is Anna who was adopted by a couple in America. She has a mental age of nine. By some coincidence, he ends up living in the same house as So Hyun. He discovers that she's the daughter of the director whom he greatly respected before his passing and finds himself developing feelings for her. So Hyun's childhood friend, Yu Ra, also works in the film industry. However, she begins to feel threatened by So Hyun whenever they cross paths. The relationships among these men and women are fraught with conflict and competition but also romance and a shared passion for films.
