Jung Joon Won is a South Korean actor born on July 26, 2004, in Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. He began acting while still a young boy, appearing in the 2012 movie “Pacemaker.” He made his drama debut 2013 sitcom “Potato Star,” following up with a role in “Bomi’s Room” (2014). He later went on to appear in the movie “A Melody to Remember” (2015) and the dramas “My Father is Strange” (2017) and “Jugglers” (2017). More recently, he has starred in “The Great Show” (2019).

“The Great Show” Teases Fun Family Charade In New Posters Ahead Of Premiere

An ambitious parliamentarian named Wi Dae Han (Song Seung Heon) was headed for a sparkling career as a lawmaker – until the media discovered a secret about his family, derailing his career. He was forced to step down from his seat in parliament but secretly dreams of a return to politics.

He senses that his wish might just come true when he meets a young woman in dire straits. She tells him that her mother – who had been single-handedly supporting a family of four children – has been killed in a traffic accident. She asks him to help care for her three young siblings.

At the same table in a café in Seoul, four different women meet four different people to hold some difficult conversations that provide a glimpse into their complicated lives.

Yoo Jin (Jung Yu Mi) is a famous actress who is contacted by her former boyfriend, Chang Suk (Jung Joon Won), and asked to meet up again at a café. As Chang Suk tries to get Yoo Jin to admit that they were “more than just friends,” Yoo Jin begins to wonder what his ulterior motive is for wanting to reconnect with her.

Kyung Jin (Jung Eun Chae) reconnects with Min Ho (Jeon Sung Woo), an aimless man who suddenly vanished after she slept with him a long time ago. Min Ho has returned from a long trip to India but offers no explanation for his behavior in the past.

Eun Hee (Han Ye Ri) meets with Sook Hee (Kim Hye Ok) with an usual proposition. Eun Hee wants to hire Sook Hee to portray her mother at Eun Hee’s upcoming wedding. 

Hye Kyung (Im Soo Jung) is preparing for her upcoming wedding. But she meets with her ex-boyfriend, Woon Chul (Yeon Woo Jin), to suggest that they have a final fling before she ties the knot.

After the death of their parents, the three Oh siblings were left with little choice but to learn to depend upon each other. Working as a reporter, Oh Soo Kyung (Lee Yo Won) does her best to support her family but it isn’t easy. With her older brother, Oh Sung Ho (Jung Man Sik) unemployed and her younger sister, Oh Joo Mi (Esom) a talent-less beauty, it’s up to Soo Kyung to make sure they all have enough to make ends meet.

Despite their best efforts, Soo Kyung, Sung Ho, and Joo Mi start to grow fond of Nak; but are their slowly-warming feelings enough to turn this stranger into a true member of the family?

During the latter stages of the Korean War (1950-1953), Second Lieutenant Han Sang Yeol (Im Siwan) finds himself in the thick of the action. A former musician turned soldier, he believes in the transformative power of music, even though the war has devastated his family, leaving him in shock and grief. But when his platoon stumbles across an orphanage, he decides to do what he can to help.

For him, help and music go hand-in-hand. So, together with the orphanage volunteer Joo Mi (Go Ah Sung), he decides to help the children of the orphanage form a choir. He starts to strike up a bond with the children, who refer to him fondly as “older brother.” Many in his platoon are stunned by his determination to help the children – and even bring them along with the unit when it is redeployed to another front. But he is determined to keep them under his protection and tutelage – no matter what.
