Jung Il Woo is a popular South Korean actor. Born on September 9, 1987, he made his acting debut in a small role in the 2006 thriller film “The World of Silence” but began to gain recognition after his first television role in the 2006 drama “Unstoppable High Kick.” He has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including “The Return of Iljimae” (2009), “My Fair Lady” (2009), “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop” (2011), “The Moon Embracing the Sun” (2012), “Golden Rainbow” (2013) and “The Night Watchman” (2014). In addition to his many Korean acting awards, Jung Il Woo also won the Asia Male Actor Award at Beijing’s 2012 Huading Awards, becoming the first non-Chinese entertainer to be nominated since the awards show began in 2005.
