Jinyoung is the stage name of Park Jin Young, a South Korean singer and actor. Born on September 22, 1994, he was first scouted after an open audition by JYP Entertainment. He began using the stage name "Junior" because he has the same name as his producer, Park Jin Young of JYP. Jinyoung debuted as part of duo JJ Project with JB in 2012, and the two members joined the hip-hop boy group GOT7 in 2014. Prior to his music debut, Jinyoung made his acting debut in the 2012 television drama “Dream High 2” and has since starred in “When a Man Loves” (2013) and “My Love Eun Dong” (2015). He also is a popular guest on variety shows.
