Jinyoung is the stage name of Jung Jin Young, a South Korean singer-songwriter, music producer and actor who is best known for being the leader of the K-pop boy group B1A4. Born on November 18, 1991, Jinyoung debuted with B1A4 in 2011 after being discovered by a photo posted on the Cyworld website and then training for two years. Jinyoung made his acting debut in a small cameo in the 2012 television drama “The Thousandth Man” and has since appeared in the popular dramas “Persevere, Goo Hae Ra” (2015), “Warm and Cozy” (2015) and “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” (2016), as well as the blockbuster hit film “Miss Granny” (2014). Jinyoung also has been a popular guest on Korean variety shows since 2011.
