Four rookie detectives come from different backgrounds, dreams, and past lives. Nam Hyun Soo (Cha Tae Hyun) is a former teen idol who is now in his 30s and working as a radio DJ. He hosts the popular radio show ‘Afternoon Radio With Hyun Soo.” Hwang Jung Nam (Park Bo Young), a teen single mother, calls into the show a few times to talk about her predicament, and she becomes a popular call-in guest.

Shockingly, Jung Nam shows up at Hyun Soo’s home and claims to be Hyun Soo’s daughter. She also brings Hwang Ki Dong (Wang Suk Hyun), her son, and introduces him as Hyun Soo’s grandson! The flabbergasted Hyun Soo has no choice but to let Jung Nam and Ki Dong stay with him in his apartment until he could sort out the truth. But when the paparazzi mistakenly believes that Hyun Soo and Jung Nam are romantically involved, can Hyun Soo survive the ensuing scandal?

“Scandal Makers” is a 2008 South Korean film written directed by Kang Hyung Chul. A Chinese remake was released in 2016.
