Han Chae Ah is the stage name of Kim Kyung Ha, a South Korean actress. Born on March 24, 1982, she made her debut in the music video of Song Ho Young’s song “Love Brings Separation” in 2006. She then hosted the television variety show “Fantasy Couple – Classroom of Love” from 2007 to 2010. Han Chae Ah made her acting debut in the 2008 television series “Kokkiri (Elephant)” and has since starred in many popular dramas, including “Bridal Mask” (2012), “Ohlala Couple” (2012), “All About My Romance” (2013), “Marry Him If You Dare” (2013), “You Are the Only One” (2014) and “The Merchant: Gaekju 2015” (2015).

KBM Reporter Seo Jung Won is known as the Villain Hunter. Her show, "Nothing Uncovered," reports about the villains who provoked the public, and her sharp comments made the show popular, making Jung Won a star reporter. However, she gets involved in a shocking incident that drags her down to the bottom, and she has to team up with her ex-lover, Kim Tae Heon. Tae Heon is a detective at Gangha Police Station, and he has to do everything his way. He meets Jung Won while investigating a case and gets confused by their reunion. Woo Jae is Jung Won's husband, and he's a famous mystery writer from a wealthy family. Although he's a romantic who's willing to do anything for Jung Won, he has been secretly hiding his wounded heart. And now, the three are deeply involved in serial murders.

During the Joseon Dynasty in the late 1800s, the father of Chun Bong Sam (Jang Hyuk) made his living as a merchant before being framed for opium possession and wrongfully executed. Bong Sam’s older sister seeks her own revenge, while Bong Sam himself joins a group of children who train to become peddlers, eventually working himself up to becoming a merchant himself. He later inherits an inn, albeit in poor condition and requiring substantial renovation. Nevertheless, Bong Sam perseveres, maintaining his humble roots as he strives to become one of Korea’s top merchants despite opposition from greedier peers. This drama was based on Kim Joo Young’s novel “Gaekju,” serialized in a Korean daily newspaper from 1979–1983.

Kim Soo Young (Shin Ha Kyun) has just been elected as a member of the National Assembly as a member of the conservative New Korea Party. A former judge, he decided to enter politics to escape pressure from his superiors for judicial favors. This puts him in opposition with fellow National Assembly member No Min Young (Lee Min Jung), one of two representatives of the Progressive Labor Party. Min Young herself decided to become a politician after her sister passed away while she attempted to run for president. Their paths cross after Min Young accidentally hits Soo Young on the head with a fire extinguisher – and from then on, their professional and personal lives only grow more intertwined as they unexpectedly begin to fall for each other.
