Cha Ji Won (Lee Jin Wook), a Navy SEAL officer, seeks revenge for his father's murder after being framed as an outlaw in Thailand. His childhood friend Min Sun Jae (Kim Kang Woo), who harbors resentment towards Ji Won, becomes involved in a plot that leads to Ji Won's father's death. With help from Korean ex-patriots Kaya (Moon Chae Won), Ko Sung Min (Lee Won Jong), and Kim Ji Ryoong (Kim Tae Woo), Ji Won navigates dangerous territory to uncover the truth and clear his name. Complicated by past relationships, including his fiancée Yoon Ma Ri (Yoo In Young) and his sister Cha Ji Soo (Im Se Mi), Ji Won must overcome numerous obstacles to find his father's real killer. This is a 2016 South Korean drama series directed by Han Hee, based on a comic by Hwang Mi Na and inspired by "The Count of Monte Cristo."
