Blue Lan is a Taiwanese actor. Born on March 1, 1979, as Lan Cheng Lung, he made his acting debut in 2001 and gained attention for one of his first roles, a small cameo as Dao Ming Si’s older cousin in “Meteor Garden.” Blue Lan has appeared in many popular films and dramas since then, including ”Easy Fortune Happy Life” (2009), “Apple in Your Eye” (2014) and “The Ex-Man” (2018). Blue Lan was involved in a high-profile relationship with Barbie Hsu from 2001 to 2005. He met his future wife, Jade Chou, in 2003 but the two began dating in 2011 after they shot a commercial endorsement together. They married in May 2014.

Just when everything is going well for a 31-year-old woman, a very unusual kink complicates her life.

Li Qin Ai (Rainie Yang) is a magazine photographer who is happy with her career and her relationship with her boyfriend, Zhou Li Yang (Johnny Lu). She has tried hard to forget her first love, Dai Hai An (Blue Lan), after they broke up 10 years ago. When Hai An reappears in Qin Ai’s life unexpectedly, some things are just not right with him. First of all, he is still his 18-year-old self from their youth, and he is “half-transparent.”

Qin Ai begins to wonder why she is the only person who can “see” Hai An and if he's actually dead and appearing before her as a ghost. Whatever may be going on, it’s obvious that Hai An has no intention of leaving her alone and negotiates with Qin Ai to live with her.

A wealthy man gets hurt on a hunting trip and is restored to health by a rural herbalist. He falls in love with the herbalist and promises to come back for her, but years pass and he never returns. 

But when the old man is rushed to a hospital with a heart attack, it is the herbalist’s granddaughter, Xie Fu An (Joe Chen), an herbal doctor, who treats the man and saves him. When he realizes how much Fu An looks like the woman he fell in love with years ago, he announces that he will give away his entire fortune to the man who marries Fu An. 

The man’s grandson, Yan Da Feng (Blue Lan), an arrogant young man who assumed he would inherit the wealth, is alarmed when he hears the news and hires someone to go kill this young woman who is about to steal his fortune. 

However, after meeting Fu An, Da Feng begins to fall for her and decides to marry her himself. But can Da Feng stop the wheels he set in motion to harm Fu An and hope to have a happy ending with her? 

“Easy Fortune Happy Life” is a 2009 Taiwanese drama series directed by Liu Jun Jie that originally aired on TTV. It is adapted from a novel by Liang Yun Ru, the same author who wrote the novels that would become the hit dramas “Fated to Love You” (2008) and “My Queen” (2009).
