Kenji Wu is a popular Taiwanese Mandopop singer-songwriter and actor who shot to stardom after competing in MTV Taiwan’s “New Artist Fight Game” in 2000. He was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, but grew up in Argentina after moving there at the age of 6. He has won numerous awards, including “Most Popular Sing-Songwriter” at the HITO Radio Music Awards in 2007. In addition to his own popular songs, Kenji Wu also has composed and produced songs for other popular artists, including Melody Chiang, Valen Hsu, Yu Hao Ming and Wang Yu Xin. After branching out into acting in the 2001 television series “Peach Girl,” he has starred in several other dramas and films.
