Aoi Wakana is a Japanese actress and singer who was born on June 30, 1998, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She debuted as an actress in 2009, starring in “Samurai High School.” In 2012, she joined the pop group Otome Shinto, departing in 2014 to further her acting career. She starred in the film Samurai Pirates in 2014, following up with a role in “Survival Family” (2017). In 2018, she starred in “Black Pean,” for which she was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category at the Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix awards later the same year. She also starred in the 2020 drama series “May December Couple.”
