Bae Suzy is a popular South Korean singer and actress. Born on October 10, 1994, she is a member of the South Korean girl group Miss A. Suzy was an online shopping model before she participated in the reality competition “Superstar K.” Although she only made it through the preliminary round, she caught the attention of a scout and soon after became a music trainee for JYP Entertainment. She trained for only a year before she debuted with Miss A in 2010. That same year, Suzy also became one of the hosts for the music variety show “MBC Show! Music Core” and went on to host many other music shows. She branched into acting with the 2011 television drama “Dream High” and is best known for her roles in the dramas “Gu Family Book” (2013), “Uncontrollably Fond” (2016) and “While You Were Sleeping” (2017). Suzy holds the distinction of being the first Korean female celebrity to have more than 1 million followers on Twitter.

Despite having the power to see the future, field reporter Nam Hong Joo (Suzy) is often powerless to stop those events from happening. Having recently acquired the ability to foresee future events, prosecutor Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) manages to save the life of police officer Han Woo Tak (Jung Hae In), whose death would have been used to frame Hong Joo. By surviving the attempt on his life, Woo Tak also gains the ability to see the future. Teenager Go Hye Mi (Bae Suzy) dreamed of attending Julliard and becoming a classical singer, but after her wealthy father goes bankrupt and runs away to avoid loan sharks, she’s left behind to handle his affairs. A debt collector suggests that she attend Kirin Arts High, where students train in the hopes of becoming K-pop idols, become a singer, and use the money from album sales to repay her father’s debts. Hye Mi finds the idea distasteful, but agrees when the debt collector threatens to force her younger sister into work instead. After auditioning for Kirin, Hye Mi encounters students like aspiring dancer Jin Guk (Taecyeon), Kim Pil Sook (IU), and more, who help her broaden her horizons and learn more about music and performing. Hye Mi grows closer to Jin Guk in particular, despite a rocky first encounter, changing her life forever.
