Bae Jong Ok is a South Korean actress born on May 13, 1964, in Seoul, South Korea. She studied Theater at Chung-Ang University, and later went on to complete a doctorate in Journalism and Mass Communication at Korea University. She made her acting debut in the 1988 movie “Chil-su and Man-su,” and made her drama bow in the 1990 series “Our Paradise.” Since then, she has gone on to appear in a host of TV and movie titles including “Worlds Within” (2008), “Monster” (2016), and “Live” (2018). She returned to Chung-Ang University in 2003 to teach in the Theater and Film Studies department as a visiting professor. More recently, she has appeared in the series “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” (2019) and “Graceful Family” (2019).
