Dai Chun Rong is a Chinese actress famous for playing the role of Chinese empresses in drama series titles. She was born on February 2, 1961, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. Her first TV series role came in 1996, when she played the Empress Xu in “Han Gong Fei Yan.” She followed up in 1998, again playing the Empress in drama series “My Fair Princess.” Her most recent portrayal of an empress was in 2013, when she played the 6th-century Empress Dowager Hu in “Prince of Lan Ling.”
